BIOGRAPHIE

I am a former professional sportsman turned artist who expresses himself mainly through a game that rocked our childhood, and that of several generations, I think each of us, had some in our hands: LEGO®.

My 3D works by pixelation are made up of thousands of tangled LEGO® pieces with several readings possible.

Immediate reading with the eyes:

Shows a tangle of thousands of pieces, assembled one by one, glued and forming a set in dense relief whose structure is complex and the subject remains vague, even not perceptible.

Reading in physical distance by taking a few steps backwards:

Brings out the subject of the work for which sometimes a few meters of distance are necessary to SEE the work and its object.

Reading through a mobile phone screen:

the subject appears instantly, where our eyes need a physical distance of several meters to “see” what the work reveals.
